We produce two major shows each year, one in June and one in December. We begin rehearsals each year for our Spring show either in the last week of February or the first week of March and the concert is held the first or second week of June. Our December season begins in early September and the show is the first or second week of December.

Rehearsals for our upcoming season will begin on September 3. We rehearse every Thursday during the season, in the Assateague Room of the Ocean Pines Community Center. Main rehearsals are from 1:30-3:00 PM. A mixed ensemble subgroup practices from 1:00-1:30 and every other week, either the sopranos and altos or the tenors and basses stay briefly to rehearse their specialty music.

How to Join

Do you think you might want to join us, or at least learn more about what it’s like to be a Pine Tone? 

Some people like to just dive into the deep end and if that’s you, feel free to come to one of our first two rehearsals of the season. We’ll welcome you, hand you a binder full of music, help you figure out your vocal range if you don’t already know, and you can just start singing. 

Those first rehearsals are awfully busy, however, and it might seem a bit overwhelming if you haven’t had a chance to get acquainted first. We recommend giving us a call first, so we can chat and you can ask us any questions you may have.  Feel free to get in touch with our Music Director or President at your convenience.

All members are required to pay a seasonal dues of $35.  This helps us to defray the high cost of the sheet music.  Dues are payable by cash or check during the first three rehearsals of the season.​
